Tamsin Greenway has been confirmed as one of England Netball’s Technical Coaches, joining Anna Stembridge’s new Vitality Roses coaching team alongside fellow former England international Jo Harten as preparations begin for the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney. Greenway brings a wealth of experience to the role, having established herself as one of the most respected figures in the sport through her work as a player, coach, broadcaster and performance leader.
Few people have contributed to English netball in as many ways as Greenway. During a distinguished playing career, she earned more than 100 caps for England and helped the Roses secure medals on the world stage. Widely regarded as one of the game’s most influential mid-court players, she represented her country across multiple major international tournaments and became a key figure in the national team’s success over more than a decade.
Greenway successfully transitioned into coaching following her retirement, building an impressive reputation within the domestic and international game. A multiple Netball Super League title winner as both a player and coach, she has led elite programmes across the sport and currently serves as Director of Netball and Head Coach of London Mavericks. Her coaching credentials were further enhanced during a spell as Scotland head coach between 2020 and 2023, where she helped shape the programme’s development and competitive identity.
Her appointment to the senior England set-up continues a growing involvement with the national pathway, having also worked as a Technical Coach with the newly formed Roses A programme and supported England’s youth development structures. Renowned for her tactical expertise, athlete development and deep understanding of elite performance, Greenway’s return to the Roses environment represents another significant addition as England target success on the road to the 2027 Netball World Cup.
