Nicola McCleery Returns to Strathclyde Sirens for a Fourth Season
To start Strathclyde Sirens 2020 squad announcements, we are thrilled to announce the return of Nicola McCleery for her fourth consecutive year. Nicola has gained a wealth of experience, notably in her three years competing in the Vitality Netball Superleague, 2013 World Youth Championships, 2016-2019 Senior European Championships, 2018 Commonwealth Games, and the recent 2019 Netball World Cup.
Nicola said: “I am super excited to re-sign with Strathclyde Sirens for my fourth season running and can’t wait to see how our new and refreshing team progresses this upcoming year. I’m most looking forward to getting back out in front of our home crowd at the Emirates Arena, delivering performances that we can be super proud of.
“Being a Siren for me is being part of a team that strives to be better and compete week in, week out against some of the best athletes in the world.”
With more signings to be announced over the coming weeks, be sure to keep your eyes peeled to find out who will be joining Nicola on court next season.
