For many teams coaches will be looking to keep their squads together from this season, for others a combination of final table position, if the player was on a one or two year contract or other factors might see some changes in the teams ahead of next season but how will it work
The signing window is open from 7 July – 29 August 2025. Once the 29th August arrives all clubs will have signed and registered their ten NSL players with the League.
Between then and now this signing window allows teams to fully complete their squads by bringing in players from other clubs, signing players that have been part of their side in past seasons or elevating NXT Gen players for example.
This is a formal registration period that takes place between NSL clubs and the NSL where vital documents and procedures must be submitted and followed for the players to be eligible to compete in the upcoming season. This includes contracts, medical insurance forms, right to work checks and visa checks (for overseas players).
When will we find out?
Squad announcements are scheduled from 7 July – 5 September 2025 according to England Netball! , It is unknown at this stage if Sky Sports News will be announcing all teams in a given hour like they did last year – Likewise clubs are also free to announce this information themselves at their own preference
How large can squads be?
As per 2025, each club must have a total of ten registered players in their squad.
