Team England confirm Netball Commonwealth side
Established internationals and exciting new talent will represent Team England on the netball court at Glasgow 2026,
The team of 12 athletes has officially been confirmed for this summer’s Commonwealth Games.
Head coach Anna Stembridge has named a squad blending world-class experience and leadership with Francesca Williams set to captain the side.
Williams returns to the Commonwealth stage as one of the side’s key leaders. She is one of six players from the historic silver medal-winning team at the 2023 Netball World Cup selected for Glasgow, with Liv Tchine also returning to take on the vice captaincy role. The latter has continued to establish herself as one of England’s most dangerous attacking threats.
Tchine heads into her second major international tournament after impressing for London Pulse and on the international stage since making her debut in 2022. In attack, she is joined by Eleanor Cardwell, who earns selection for her second Commonwealth Games after first representing Team England in Birmingham.
