Finn signs for Thunder

Scottish International Cerys Finn has been signed as a member of our squad for the Netball Super League 2027 season.

From being drafted in as a temporary replacement player for Birmingham Panthers, to winning the NXT Gen League with London Mavericks and signing as a permanent replacement player for us at the start of June and making her debut in the Soft & Gentle Grand Final, Cerys has had a whirlwind 2026 season!

To top it off, Cerys has been named in Scotland’s Commonwealth Games squad, and will feature later this month in Glasgow!

Cerys burst onto the scene ahead of the Finals Series this year and produced an outstanding debut under immense pressure in the NSL Grand Final, proving to us, and the wider netball community, that she has everything it takes to be an AO Thunder player.

As a talented young Scottish international, Cerys brings athleticism, versatility and exciting new options to our defensive unit. We’re thrilled to have her with us and can’t wait to see her continue to grow in AO Thunder colours.”

Thunder are set to confirm their full 2026/2027 team ny the end of this week.
