Berri Neil joins Nottingham Forest Netball

Nottingham Forest Netball is delighted to announce Berri Neil has joined the Club.

The experienced attacker made her NSL debut on her 18th birthday for Manchester Thunder and has since been at both London Pulse and most recently Loughborough Lightning.

Neil’s form at Pulse earned her first call up to the England Roses, making her debut against New Zealand. Neil has gone on to play 11 times for England and remains part of the Vitality Roses Programme for 2026/27.

The 23-year-old arrives in Nottingham having previously played with Head Coach Chelsea Pitman at London Pulse, and everyone at Forest Netball wishes her well as she joins the Club for the coming season.

On joining Forest, Neil said: “I can’t wait. Forest are building something amazing and have made huge progress in such a short space of time. The team finished in the top four which was incredible, and I’m really excited for the future and how I can fit into that. I’m around the right players and the right staff to hopefully have my best season.”

Head Coach, Chelsea Pitman, said: “Berri is someone I know really well from my time playing with her at London Pulse. Everyone can see the talent she has on court, but what impressed me most was her work ethic, her competitiveness and her genuine hunger to keep getting better.

“Knowing the person she is, seeing the impact she has on court and having the conversations we’ve had, there was no doubt in my mind she’d be a great fit for what we’re building at Nottingham Forest.

“She wants to keep pushing her game to another level and that’s exactly the type of player we want in our environment. We have big ambitions as a club and Berri’s mindset, drive and willingness to be challenged make her a really exciting signing for us.”
