Welsh Feathers For Commonwealth Announced
Wales have announced the players that will be travelling to Glasgow in a few weeks time for the Commonwealth Games 2026.
Team Wales is thrilled to unveil the 12 athletes who will proudly wear the red dress at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games this summer.
Bethan Dyke and Leah Middleton take on leadership of the Feathers
From 23 July to 2 August, the squad will join athletes from across the Commonwealth, with netball taking centre stage at The Hydro from 25 July. This team brings together fierce experience, rising talent and the unmistakable spirit of Welsh netball.
With leaders like Bethan Dyke and sharpshooter Georgia Rowe, alongside exciting emerging athletes from Wales Netball’s pathway, this squad represents both the present and future of the Welsh Feathers programme.

Head Coach Emily Handyside celebrated the announcement, praising the athletes’ dedication and the pride they bring to their communities. Chief Executive Sarah Boswell echoed the sentiment, highlighting the honour of representing Wales on one of sport’s biggest stages.
Wales will take on New Zealand, Jamaica, Uganda, Scotland and Trinidad & Tobago in Pool B, with matches running from 25–30 July.
This will be Head Coach Emily Handyside’s competition before she steps down at the end of the tournament and she will be assisted throughout by Team Bath’s Natalie Roddy.
