World Netball Launches Minor Rules Review

World Netball (WN) has launched its Minor Rules Review of the Rules of Netball, welcoming WM Member Associations and Panels to submit proposals for changes.

The purpose of this review is to address minor adjustments, clarifications, or refinements to the existing Rules of Netball to ensure the game remains fair, safe and competitive.

The review will be led by the Rules Advisory Panel (RAP) who will consult with other WN Panels.

The final proposals from the Minor Rules Review will be presented to WN at Congress in Sydney, ahead of the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027.

The closing date for National Associations and Panels to submit proposals to WN is 7^th September 2026. 

Any individual who wishes to suggest a rules change should contact their National Association as proposals will only be accepted from a WN National Association or WN Panel Member.
