Mavs’ head coach, Gerard Murphy, and midcourter, Maddie Hay spoke to the media post-match.

The Melbourne Mavericks have again come close to the Adelaide Thunderbirds, however, did not have enough points on the board to get over the line in the closing stages, going down, 51-55.

With the second match up between the top four sides being played on the Thunderbirds home court, this time the Mavs fell four goals short, although will be buoyed by their second half performance in particular, which they won; 27-22.
