The Queensland Firebirds have fallen to a 73-46 loss to in-form Adelaide Thunderbirds at Nissan Arena on Sunday in Suncorp Super Netball Round 3.
Firebirds youngster Elsa Sif Sandholt scored 30 points including six Suncorp Super Shots but the Thunderbirds, led by defensive star Shamera Sterling-Humphrey, were too good for their hosts in the 27-goal win.
