Netball World Cup to be broadcast on Nine
Nine has been appointed as the Official Broadcast Partner in Australia for the tournament, with all 64 matches of the competition to be broadcast and streamed live.
The groundbreaking deal will deliver the maximum possible reach and coverage for fans and our valued commercial partners of the NWC2027, amplifying the impact of World Netball’s (WN) pinnacle international event.
NWC2027 LOC Chief Executive Officer Mark Falvo emphasised the importance of the partnership to realise the potential of the event, and its ability to attract a new generation of fans to Australia’s most popular female sport.
“We are thrilled to welcome Nine as the Official Host Broadcaster and Official Broadcast Partner of the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027, which is building up to be the most electric Netball World Cup yet.
“We know that electricity will now translate to screens and devices around the country,” Falvo said.
“The Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 will unite all Australians behind this once in a generation event, through the game played by more women and girls than any other.
“This partnership will ensure this special moment is shared across the country, in every home and by everyone.”
As part of the deal, Nine will also assume the host broadcast production responsibility, guaranteeing a world-class broadcast experience for viewers not only in Australia, but in other territories around the globe.

“With netball played in over 120 nations, Nine’s reputation for production excellence will provide the most innovative broadcast experience for viewing fans yet – both in Australia and around the world.”
WN will now work alongside the NWC2027 LOC and Nine to ensure the event is available in markets across the globe, enabling fans worldwide to tune in.

NWC2027 will be staged in Sydney over 12 consecutive days, from 25th August – 5th September 2027.
