London Mavericks have updated news on their current injured players via their official Newsletter today.

London Mavericks can confirm that Chelsea Blackman has suffered a ruptured Achilles during our recent clash with Leeds Rhinos. She will undergo surgery following medical assessment as she begins her road to recovery.

This is a tough setback, but Chelsea is a fighter, and we have no doubt she’ll take on her rehab journey with the same strength and determination she brings to the court every game. The entire London Mavericks family are right behind Chelsea, offering our full support.

Vicki Oyesola Injury Update
London Mavericks can confirm that Vicki Oyesola has suffered a torn ACL during our recent fixture against Cardiff Dragons. Following medical assessment, Vicki will undergo surgery so that she can begin her recovery journey.

Vicki remains a vital part of the London Mavericks family. She will continue to be involved with the squad, joining us at training and match days where possible, and will receive world-class rehabilitation from both the London Mavericks and England Netball Performance teams as she works towards a full recovery.
