Geva returning to play in NSL

This is great news for a Thursday and not long to wait until we find out where!

Geva posted the following on her Instagram this morning

“After 15 years in Australia living & competing I am super grateful for my experiences, the opportunities & the lifelong friendships I’ve made along the way.

However;

I’m excited to announce I’m returning to the Northern hemisphere I choose NSL. I’m looking forward to playing on English soil, those who know me know I want to keep driving the aspirations of others so to aid NSL on their future endeavours to turn this league fully professional. Also, dear to me, to be able to connect back with the English netball community who have been so supportive of my adventures down under.

Yes the situation in Australia & in particular with Magpies has accelerated this decision, but don’t worry I will return back to Aus when I can, although not likely in a netball dress! Not only to support all players where I can, but I’ll keep challenging and holding the powers that be accountable as I too want a successful SSN league to be able to encourage my fellow imports to come & to keep growing the game.
