Eighth Licence Update

An update on the SSN search for the new 8th license.

Netball Australia has appointed a sub-committee as part of a process to determine the eighth Suncorp Super Netball licence.

Committee members include Netball Australia Chair Wendy Archer, Board members John O’Sullivan, Peter Legg and Mo’onia Gerrard, CEO Kelly Ryan and independent consultants David Gallop and Colin Smith.

Netball Australia is conducting a request for proposal process, with submissions due by June 20. 

“It’s pleasing to have a wealth of experience on the sub-committee, including two independent consultants,” said Netball Australia Chair Wendy Archer.

“We are running a thorough process to determine the eighth licensee for Suncorp Super Netball.

“We want to ensure this new licence holder has the capability to run a sustainable and successful team well into the future.”
