Netball WA appoint Sara as Asst Talent Coach
Netball WA has appointed Sara Francis-Bayman as its new Assistant Talent Coach and Assistant Coach to the State 17/U team.
Francis-Bayman will start in the Netball WA Performance and Pathway Department immediately and travel to Darwin with the State 17/U side for the National Netball Championships next week.
As part of her role, Francis-Bayman will assist Talent Coach Guy Keane to develop the next generation of Netball WA talent in the West Coast Fever Academy.
General Manager – Performance and Pathway Sue Gaudion said the opportunity to secure Francis-Bayman was a massive coup for Netball WA and its pathway programs.
“When Sara became available, we jumped at the opportunity to bring her back to the Netball WA pathway and West Coast Fever Academy,” Gaudion said.
“She is an experienced international player, terrific coach and brilliant netball mind so to have her helping guide the next generation of WA netball talent is something we are extremely excited about.
“Our 17/U State Team are very lucky to have Sara as part of their campaign next week and we are really looking forward to her hitting the ground running.”
