Rhinos 2023 memberships on sale
Fans can now purchase memberships to fully get behind Liana’s first season in charge.
A refreshed and recharged Leeds Rhinos Netball team will take to the court in 2023 aiming to once again challenge for honours in the Netball Super League competition. Fans can now buy Supporter Memberships to get behind Liana Leota’s team next season, with benefits for fans including access to a priority pre-sale for home matches and Netball Super League events such as the Grand Final plus opportunities to meet players and coaches during the season.
Head coach Liana Leota said: “We are really pleased with the squad we have put together for the 2023 season and there is a lot of excitement around the club about what this group can achieve next year.“The team got chance to play in front of their home support for the first time last season at venues around Yorkshire and you can see that the interest in our franchise is growing across the county so we can’t wait for our new look squad to get started and to get out and meet our fans.”
The Rhinos squad this year is a is a mix between experience and some of the most promising talents in the game. Fan favourites Brie Grierson, Vicki Oyesola and Michelle Magee are on board for another season and they have been joined by returning star Rosie Harris. Northern Ireland captain Caroline O’Hanlon has signed from Manchester Thunder and Wales co-captain Nia Jones has made the switch to Leeds from Celtic Dragons.
England Futures players Paige Reed and Elle McDonald, who has joined from Adelaide Thunderbirds, are among the new recruits, along with Millie Sanders who was a Grand Final winner last season.Goal shooting star Ellie Bird will be playing in her first Super League campaign after joining from ANZ Championship side Tactix.
Completing the squad are two of South Africa’s brightest young stars Nicola Smith and Elmeré Van Der Berg.
