Super Amy returns
Amy Flanagan “Super Amy” will be returning for Storm for 2023.
Known affectionally to many as ‘Super Amy’, she has already won England’s domestic competition four times. Victories in 2017 and 2018 with Wasps were preceded by triumphs at Surrey Storm during the two years prior.
News first came of the return yesterday with a (hardly disguised) vid on Storms twitter

Amy had already taken the decision to step away from the Superleague in this tweet from the time but she had been spotted by Storm fans not only training alongside the current team but also watching games at Surrey Sports Park.
In January this year I made a decision to step away from Superleague for the 2022 season. I have loved every minute of training and playing, but it feels like the right time to give my mind and body a break, and explore some of my interests and goals off the court. pic.twitter.com/7kFUk5DbVh
