Further information has been released about key Rhinos players that are currently injured.

Leeds Rhinos Netball have confirmed that co-captain Fi Toner and defender Tuaine Keenan have escaped serious injury but will be sidelined for an extended period of time.

Toner (Achilles) and Keenan (calf) were both injured during Monday night’s Vitality Netball Superleague loss to Saracens Mavericks, and thankfully, scans cleared both players of any long term damage.

The club can also confirm that Brittany Coleman will have knee surgery in the coming weeks after injuring her ACL during a practice match in Manchester late last year. The talented shooter has been ruled out for the season.

The club is fully committed to supporting all the athletes, including import Donnell Wallam (fractured radius), in their rehabilitation and journey back to court.

Leeds Rhinos Netball head coach Dan Ryan said: “We’d like to thank everyone for their well wishes and support for the athletes and team during this time.”
