As a member of Netball Scotland, you are contributing to the successful delivery of Development Academies, Performance Programmes, Competition Structures, Coach and Umpire Education Programmes and our National and International Events. And for that, we thank you!
Your membership contributions help us facilitate the programmes and services that create your membership experience, which is why there are a lot of fantastic reasons to be part of our member community.
As a Netball Scotland member you will receive access to a wide range of services and support, whatever level you are, from beginner to elite athlete and from club volunteer to performance coach.
INSURANCE, WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED
Netball Scotland members receive insurance cover which includes Public Liability and Group Personal Accident insurance cover, which is provided by our insurance brokers Bluefin Sport.
WELLBEING AND PROTECTION STANDARDS
All Netball Scotland affiliated clubs operate under Thistle Mark Standards. These standards are aligned to the new Club Framework which will launch for the 2021 season.

SUPPORT AND ADVICE ON CLUB GOVERNANCE
Netball Scotland support clubs and members on all aspects of governance, child protection and complaint procedures through our Team of 4 Regional Development Managers (RDM’s) who cover 30 of the 32 Local Authorities in Scotland.

ACCESS TO NATIONAL COMPETITONS
Member Clubs and Secondary Schools have access to Netball Scotland’s calendar of National Competitions such as Scottish Schools Cup, Scottish Youth Cup, Scottish Cup and District Competitions.

THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME AN UMPIRE, COACH OR BENCH OFFICIAL
Members have access to our comprehensive Education Calendar and Digital Education Portal where they can find and book onto upcoming courses, such as coach development workshops, programmes, and qualifications incorporating the UKCC qualification framework.

Those on the education pathways also have access to mentoring opportunities from existing Coach/Umpires and Match Bench Officials to help them on their journey to qualification.
All Member Clubs are run by volunteers, but you don’t have to be a Coach, Umpire or Match Bench Official to get involved, Club and Local Association Committee Roles ensure our sport thrives and your participation matters.

PRIORITY ACCESS, DISCOUNTS & EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITIES
All members automatically become a member of the #SirensTribe and receive an exclusive members discount for all Strathclyde Sirens Vitality Netball Superleague home games, as well as member exclusive competitions, partner discounts and content.
Affiliated Netball Scotland members also receive priority access to Netball Scotland competitions, festivals and events as well as priority access to Scottish Thistles home event tickets.
What’s more, members have priority access and discounts for all NS/Sirens run Netball Camps (Virtual and In-Person) AND get first access to all Netball Scotland and Strathclyde Sirens run programmes/resources.
Members receive member only content through our bi-monthly E-Zine packed with health and wellbeing resources, partner, kit and retail discounts, competitions and netball tips, skills and drills.
