Thank you Josie Pointon

As Josie is appointed in her new role at England, Netball Scotland have posted their thanks to her.

Netball Scotland would like to extend thanks to Josie Pointon for three years of commitment to our national programme — particularly her work with the U21s and the Pathway programme, and more recently her contribution prior and during the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup.

Since October 2022, Josie has served as Scotland U21 Assistant Coach, forming an important part of the coaching team who led the squad to an equal best placing of sixth at the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup in Gibraltar. Her leadership of the Loughborough Lightning Nxt Gen squad saw them crowned champions in the League’s inaugural season — a testament to her expertise, dedication, and positive influence on athletes across the netball stratosphere.

Thank you Josie for sharing your expertise and for your calm and kind approach — it was wonderful for our athletes to work with you throughout your time here in Scotland.

We wish Josie every success as she embarks on her next coaching adventures with England Netball and their Junior Pathway teams .
