Melbourne to host 2025 SSN Final

The location of the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final has been confirmed, with Melbourne to host next season’s decider.

Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Steve Dimopoulos today joined Netball Australia CEO Stacey West to make the announcement. Netball Australia CEO Stacey West thanked Visit Victoria and the Victorian Government for bringing the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final to Melbourne.

“The Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final has been a sell-out for the past three seasons and Melbourne will continue the tradition in 2025,’’ West said.

“Demand for netball is stronger than ever. Netball is the most popular team sport for women and girls in Australia, and hosting the Grand Final in Melbourne will be a fantastic opportunity for our world-class athletes to inspire new generations to play the sport.’’

The 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season was the most attended season of Australian women’s sport, with 366,222 fans turning up to support their teams. Each round an average of 23,703 fans attended Suncorp Super Netball matches – up by 30 per cent from 2023.

Support for clubs was at a record high, with twelve matches selling out across the season and club memberships up by eight per cent. The date and venue for the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final will be confirmed at a later date.
