Dragons announce ground-breaking partnership
The new deal sees Cardiff Dragons known as LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons for the 2024 NSL season.
For the first time in the history of the franchise, we are thrilled to announce we have a Headline Partner for the 2024 Netball Super League season. The team will be known from this point on as the LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions harnesses the power of data, sophisticated analytics platforms, and technology solutions to provide insights that help businesses and governments reduce risk and improve decisions that benefit people around the globe. The organisation’s UK and Ireland Business Services division is based in Global Reach, Cardiff and it is part of RELX, a FTSE 10, UK headquartered company.
About the partnership, Cardiff Dragons CEO Vicki Sutton said, “It has been great getting to know Steve and the team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions over the past two months, they are a very vibrant and forward-thinking organisation who are experts in their field. To have them as our first ever Headline Partner is a real privilege and I look forward to seeing how both businesses benefit from this union.”
LexisNexis Risk Solutions UK & Ireland, Managing Director, Steve Elliot said;
This partnership is a great example of how we as an organisation can benefit society, not just through the services we provide, but by also helping people and promoting sports in our communities. We hope this partnership will add incredible value to the Cardiff Dragons Team in 2024 and we’re excited to help propel them ever further in their league success, going forward. We’re equally excited to be able to support individuals and schools in Cardiff by making free tickets available for every match to those unable to afford to attend. Our hope is that more people can enjoy enriching live sporting experiences and that in doing so we help to raise the profile of sport and of professional netball in our community and beyond.
