After 16 years as Franchise Director for Saracens Mavericks, Gloria Keech will be stepping away from this role to focus on her position on the Saracens Mavericks board.
Gloria will continue to support Saracens Mavericks in a strategic capacity but will be handing over her day-to-day operational responsibilities to a new General Manager, currently being recruited.
Gloria is a founding member of the club set up over 16 years ago and during that time she has provided excellent leadership and worked tirelessly to establish a club with a strong reputation for delivering professionally both on and off the court.
Chair of Saracens Mavericks, Cheryl Danson said “We owe huge thanks to Gloria for her leadership, hard work and dedication to the club over the last 16 years and we wish her well as she takes this step back from the Franchise Director role to focus on her Saracens Mavericks Board Director position”.
“I am confident that Gloria will continue to give her expertise and knowledge in this strategic role to help achieve further growth and high performance of the franchise and also to provide her with more quality time to spend with her family”.
Gloria Keech, Franchise Director said “This was a big decision for me, it’s been a long 16 years, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the Superleague journey. I would like to thank everyone for their support to me and of course to Mavericks over the years. This support has enabled the Club to grow and take part in the Netball Superleague.
“I am not disappearing completely, and will still be around and look forward to seeing you all again courtside to continue the Club’s journey to success in the Superleague”.
