More Suspension of all programmes, events and training extended until Friday 11th December 2020 inclusive.

Ahead of the restrictions due to come into force on Friday 27th November in Northern Ireland as issued by Northern Ireland Executive, the Board of Netball NI are confirming the continued suspension of all netball activity (this includes all club, social and after school activity), indoor and outdoor, until Friday 11th December 2020 inclusive.

This suspension has two exclusions only :-
1. National Squads who as elite athletes are exempt
2. School Curriculum PE classes, during which ‘no contact’ netball is permitted to be delivered

Netball NI recognise our role in supporting the continued efforts to supress the spread of the virus and protect the health and wellbeing of our netball family and the wider Northern Ireland community.

The health and safety of members, staff, volunteers and officials is and will always be the priority for Netball NI and this decision must be respected and followed by all clubs, schools and social groups.

The Netball Family have worked tremendously hard to get our sport back on court safely and responsibly, this work holds us in a state of readiness for a swift return and we are grateful for your continued patience.

Netball NI staff members will continue to work from home, therefore the office will remain closed for the 2 weeks ahead. The staff team are available on email and mobile. Please get in touch if you need any support, we are keen to keep engaged with you all and assist in any way we can with member and club off court activities and we have numerous resources available for you to access to support your physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Netball NI will continue to monitor the situation on an ongoing basis and will communicate additional updates as they arise.
