Coronavirus Statement

Suspension of all programmes, events and training from Friday 16th October until Friday 13th November 2020 inclusive.

NB : The Executive Manager of Netball Northern Ireland Karen Rollo will join us on an extra podcast this week to explain more online Friday

Following the most recent announcement by the Northern Ireland Executive, the Board of Netball NI are confirming the suspension of all netball activity, indoor and outdoor, (excluding our Senior National Squad who as elite athletes are exempt), from Friday 16th October until Friday 13th November 2020 inclusive.

Netball NI recognise our role in supporting the continued efforts to supress the spread of the virus and protect the health and wellbeing of our netball family and the wider Northern Ireland community.

The health and safety of members, staff, volunteers and officials is and will always be the priority for Netball NI and this decision must be respected and followed by all clubs, schools and social groups.

Participants booked on our Halloween camps will be contacted directly as these are now postponed.

The Netball Family have worked tremendously hard to get our sport back on court safely and responsibly, this work holds us in a state of readiness for a swift return following the four week timeframe for suspension given by the NI Executive.

Netball NI will also be following the guidance in terms of staff members returning to a complete work from home schedule, therefore the office will close from 5pm on Thursday 15th October and reopen on Monday 16th November on a rota basis. The staff team will continue to be available on email and mobile.

Netball NI will continue to monitor the situation on an ongoing basis and will communicate additional updates as they arise.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing everyone on court again in a few weeks.
