Thompson 1 38-31 Simcocks Blue Eagles
Thompson 1 v Simcock’s Blue was always going to be a well contested match with both teams needing the 3 points to stay in contention with the top of the table. The game started well for Thompson with the attacking duo of Anne-Marie Crompton and Fern Christian linking well and putting the girls in purple ahead at quarter time. A well-timed break for Simcocks Blue allowed them to regroup and enter the second quarter with much more vigour than they had started the game with. Fiona Clark-Wilson and Jessica Clucas worked the defence of Charlotte and Molly Christian hard ensuring the game was all to play for going into the second half. As the second half played out it was clear to see that both teams wanted to take win but Thompson held onto the lead and came out eventual winners. POTM: Lexa Hattersley (Thompson).
Route 1 Turbos 48-28 Thompson 3

Young Farmers B 24-47 Spaniards
