Clare Winning and Deborah Bleakley will assist Northern Ireland Netball head coach Dan Ryan at the World Cup in Liverpool this summer.
Reunited again at National level, Winning and Bleakley bring a wealth of player and netball knowledge to the management team, both have worked with many of NI Netball athletes as they have transitioned through the school and club structure onto the National player pathway.
Winning is currently in her second term as head coach of the Northern Ireland U17 squad and also led Belfast Ladies Netball Club to success at first, seconds and third levels with a trophy haul that included the Premier Senior League, Senior One Senior League, Central Area Senior League, the Valerie Walsh Shield and the Ann Curran Shield.
Belfast Ladies’ accomplishments earned the title of Netball NI’s Club of the Year for 2017/18 and Winning received the Club Coach of the Year in the Sport NI Sportmaker awards.
