Mavericks complete mid court

Dani McFarlane and Beth Ecuyer-Dale are the latest confirmed for the team in 2019

* Beth re-signs for the 2nd season with Mavericks VNSL Squad
* Dani returns to Mavericks for her 3rd season with the club

benecosMavericks is delighted to announce the latest two players to sign for the 2019 season. Beth Ecuyer-Dale brings a dynamic, fast paced playing style to the mid court and Dani McFarlane who last represented benecosMavericks in the 2013 season is also set to make a return to the black and purple dress.

Beth Ecuyer – Dale made her debut as Maverick #86 during the 2018 season against Sirens. Prior to this Beth captain the Mavericks U21s and is currently a student at the University of Hertfordshire. She had this to say about the season ahead. “I am very excited to re sign with benecosMavericks for the 2019 season. Last season was an incredible experience and I’m grateful to be given this opportunity to build on it this year with both new and familiar players.”

Director of Netball Kathryn Ratnapala commented: “Beth has worked her way through the U21s with Mavericks and after her first year in the VNSL squad last year she has regained her position with the squad and is growing from strength to strength – developing her game and learning every step of the way.”

Dani McFarlane was a member of the Mavericks squad from 2011-2013 and is excited about her return to benecosMavericks: “It’s great to be back with the benecosMavericks family. It has always been my home as this is where I started playing NPL netball. I believe the team this year are real contenders for a medal and I cannot wait to get started with the 2019 season.”

Kat Ratnapala added: “Dani has been part of our Mavericks group for a long time. She knows, understands and emulates the Mavericks culture and has worked extremely hard to gain her place back into the VNSL squad after some time out with injuries.
